This juice is a hydrating energy booster. Not only does watermelon taste like a slice of summer, it contains over 90% water, and when combined with the energy promoting properties of Cordyceps plus a bright dash of cayenne pepper, it creates the perfect pre-workout kick-starter.
Ingredients:
¼ small watermelon
½ punnet of strawberries
½ tsp Inner Atlas Cordyceps extract
Generous pinch of cayenne pepper
½ lime, plus extra to serve
5 ice cubes, plus extra to serve
Method:
Slice all the flesh, including some of the white rind, from the watermelon. Wash strawberries and remove tops. Add watermelon and strawberries to a blender. Add the juice of half a lime to the blender, along with cordyceps, cayenne pepper and ice cubes. Blend on high for 30 seconds, or until smooth. Add additional lime wedges and ice cubes to serve, and enjoy!
